Fiona Kemp is a former headteacher and children’s centre leader with a passion for working with leaders and practitioners to develop the best possible experience for children and their families. At Robert Owen Early Years Centre in Greenwich she consistently achieved the highest outcomes for the children – with average EYFSP results well above national and local data.
For the past three years she has also helped to develop and has co-taught on the popular Linden Learning Leading Progress and Leadership Matters courses. Hosted initially by Robert Owen (although since commissioned in three other London boroughs), these courses have already helped over 150 schools and early years settings equip their leaders with the essential skills, knowledge and experience needed to lead their teams to success.
Fiona also works alongside early years teachers and leadership teams in schools, helping them with the practical tools they use to strengthen practice, and provides advice for governing bodies on headteacher performance management. Fiona is enthusiastic about collaborative work as demonstrated through effective cluster work with up to 15 schools from large secondary schools to smaller nursery schools.
She successfully planned and organised early years and headteacher annual conferences in Greenwich providing exciting and meaningful programmes.
